Design priorities

Purpose
Reduce material, weight, labor, and dependence on imported finished hardware.
Configurations
Fixed-angle and seasonally adjustable ballasted supports.
Fabrication
Cut and bend specified sheet stock using regional manufacturing capability.
Development
Prototype development, testing, and continued engineering evaluation.

Prototype and hardware views

Full-scale assemblies and close-up component views show how the folded-sheet approach moves from a compact part set to a supported module.

Project team

Yan Kunczynski founded and designed Pinpoint Solar, building on a long career in contracting, manufacturing, aerial tramways, and automated people movers. Benjamin Burger led commercialization strategy across clean-energy business models, solar desalination, water heating, and racking.

Engineering discipline

Material efficiency and installation speed matter only when the system also satisfies structural, electrical, fire, durability, drainage, module-compatibility, and permitting requirements. Pinpoint Solar presents the concept clearly while keeping those project-specific responsibilities visible.
